waiting for the man is an event, organized annually by
the made in cloister foundation in naples to celebrate
the anniversary of lou reed’s birth.
The first edition was in 2019 and this, the fourth,
coincides with his 80th birthday.
this is the entry for the contest, organized by ILAS academy,
which was awarded as the official poster of the event.
the design combine made in cloister’s elegant and
minimal aesthetic with its distinctive cyan color and lou reed’s rock
soul by paying homage, with the iconic yellow color,
to the velvet underground.
